Arlo Essential is a wireless camera line using Wifi connection from Netgear. Compared to Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 products , Essential can operate independently without the need for Arlo Base Station . Arlo Essential has a full HD 1080p resolution. In addition, on the camera body is integrated a Spotlight LED light for night vision. Essential's viewing angle is 130 degrees, which can cover many areas of the house.

View live photos and videos in high definition on your phone. Whether you are traveling, as long as your phone is connected to Wifi/3G/4G, you can conveniently monitor your home remotely. The camera can also zoom up to 12x whether it's day or night.

Easy to install, built-in battery and alarm

No complicated wiring, just mount the camera mount on the spot to be observed and then you're good to go. Arlo Assential's stand is extremely sturdy, rotating 360 degrees. The camera will be kept fixed but can still change the angle when needed. Essential's built-in rechargeable battery can last up to 6 months on a single charge. (Depending on the user's usage, the battery life will change). Battery life will always be updated on the Arlo app and will notify you when the battery is almost empty.

Compared to the Pro series, the Assential has an alarm on the camera body. Turn on the alarm from the app as soon as it detects someone entering your house illegally.

Good weather resistance

1. The camera does not have a Video hosting package available. You need to register for Arlo Smart Plan package when you want to save Videos.
