Inside ERS Eye you will find internal sensors for measuring indoor temperature, humidity, light, motion, and of course, occupancy. The occupancy is detected with an IR sensor and will tell if someone is in the room, even if sitting still in a meeting, for example.

This is an indoor LoRaWAN® room sensor for measuring indoor environment and occupancy. It has a clean design and is ideal for mounting in the ceiling above areas where occupancy needs to be measured. It senses the presence of body heat in the room by measuring the temperature in an 8×8 matrix with a 60×60 degree viewing angle. Not only will you have the possibility to optimize the usage of meeting rooms, offices, or other public areas, you will also have full control over the indoor environment with sensors measuring the temperature, humidity, and light.
The battery life is estimated to be up to 5 years but depends on sample interval, transmit interval, data rate, and environmental factors. It is powered by two 3,6V AA lithium batteries.
All our sensors are equipped with NFC (Near Field Communication) for easy configuration with an Android phone. You can change the sample rate, data rate, encryption keys, triggers, activation, and much more in our application “Sensor Settings“. All our sensors are built on the LoRaWAN® stack from Semtech.
